Dana Mark Petersen, MD, FAAP (he/him) 

Dr. Petersen is an experienced pediatrician who has been dedicated to the health and well-being of his patients for over 40 years. He completed his pediatric residency at Seattle Children's and was a founding member of Olympia Pediatrics.  

As a primary care pediatrician, Dr. Petersen believes in fully informing his patients about their treatment options and enabling them to make informed decisions about their healthcare. He is passionate about International Medicine and Behavioral Health, constantly seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and expertise in these areas. 

In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Petersen cherishes his role as a family man. He and his wife, Patricia, are proud parents to three grown children. Dr. Petersen enjoys engaging in various activities, including hiking, swimming, gardening, and singing in a choir. Above all, he values spending quality time with his loved ones and being an active member of the Olympia community.

Bridget Sipher, MD (she/her) 

Dr. Sipher is a pediatrician with a passion for working with children and families, she has been practicing pediatrics since 2003 and joined Olympia Pediatrics in 2005. Dr. Sipher received her medical degree from the University of Washington and completed her pediatric residency at University of Utah, where she was Chief Resident for a year. 

Dr. Sipher is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Washington State Medical Association (WSMA). She is active on multiple committees and quality improvement projects with WCAAP and Seattle Children's. She believes in the importance of quality improvement and strives to enhance the care provided to her young patients. 

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Bridget Sipher was honored with the South Sound Exceptional Woman Award in 2018. Beyond her professional commitments, she also finds fulfillment in giving back to the community as a current member of the South Sound Reading Foundation's programs committee and a former board member of SSRF. 

Dr. Sipher's decision to become a pediatrician stems from her lifelong love for working with children. Even from a young age, she was drawn to caring for young individuals and finds fulfillment in collaborating with like-minded professionals who share her passion. 

Outside of her medical career, Dr. Sipher is a mother to two children. She has a variety of interests, including swimming (particularly wild swimming), Pilates, cooking, hiking, reading, and enjoying quality time with her family. 

Dr. Sipher supports vaccinations for all children. Her patients should anticipate that vaccinations will be discussed at all well child examinations and vaccinations will be offered at all appointments to children who are due for vaccines. Dr. Sipher promotes and follows the CDC’s (Center for Disease Control) immunization schedule.

Brad Stephens, MD (he/him) 

Dr. Stephens joined Olympia Pediatrics in 2008. He offers expert care in all areas of pediatric medicine, from newborn care through adolescents and young adulthood. He is passionate about supporting families and children to live healthier lives through compassionate, heartfelt care. 

Dr. Stephens was raised in Eastern Oregon, he obtained his Bachelor of Science from Tufts University and completed his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine, graduating in 2005.  He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Vermont-Vermont Children's Hospital, where he was a clinical instructor from June 2005 to June 2008.  

He has special interests in mental health, vaccines and sports medicine. Dr. Stephens is board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

Dr. Stephens chose pediatrics due to his personal experience with childhood cancer and his passion for working with children. He lives in Olympia with his wife and two daughters and enjoys outdoor activities, swimming, baking, and spending time with his family.

Stephanie Srur, DO (she/her) 

Dr. Srur joined Olympia Pediatrics in 2017.  She completed her B.S in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Puget Sound and her D.O. at ATSU-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. Dr. Srur's professional journey includes a pediatric residency at the University of Kansas, where she honed her skills and deepened her passion for pediatric care.  

Her core values of integrity, compassion, respect, and collaboration only strengthen her practice. Dr. Srur began caring for a special needs child at an early age which sparked her interest in pediatrics and medicine. She brings a calming nature, enthusiastic attitude, and a warm smile as she interacts with her patients and their families. 

Dr. Srur grew up in western Washington and couldn’t feel more privileged to be back here working in her community. She loves to share her excitement of cooking and baking with her husband and two young children. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with their miniature poodle and traveling with the family whenever time permits. As a child Dr. Srur was very musical, playing the piano, clarinet, saxophone, and violin. She had a great interest in math and science and feels blessed to find a career that she loves.

Iris Petersen, MD, (she/her) 

Dr. Petersen joined Olympia Pediatrics in 2021 after completing a pediatric residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. 

Choosing pediatrics was a natural fit for Dr. Petersen, as she finds immense fulfillment in collaborating with families to nurture the growth and development of children. She strives to provide the most compassionate and evidence-based care, ensuring that her patients receive the best possible treatment.  

Her genuine enthusiasm for learning allows her to continuously expand her knowledge and skills, ultimately benefiting the children under her care. Dr. Petersen’s professional areas of interest encompass a wide range, from caring for patients of all ages - from birth through adolescence - to addressing acute and chronic illnesses. She welcomes diversity in her practice, including gender diversity, and is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all her patients. Dr. Iris is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Petersen enjoys adventuring in nature, gardening, playing with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.

Katelin Petrin, ARNP (she/her) 

Katie is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner focusing on primary pediatrics, practicing since 2015 when she joined Olympia Pediatrics.  Katie's professional beliefs and values center around providing patient-centered care, showing compassion and empathy, collaborating with colleagues, and advocating for her patients.  

Katie chose pediatrics because of her passion for working with kids and enjoys seeing them grow and thrive. “I enjoy watching children grow and change overtime. I love their resilience, that they can laugh and smile even when they are sick, and I love having fun with them during visits!”  She does have a special place in her heart for preemie infants and their families, as she had a 29 weeker herself. 

Outside of work, Katie spends time with her husband, two children, and a lab/hound mix, engaging in activities like laughing, playing, and cooking together.

Annaka Gustafson Thibodeaux, ARNP 

Annaka has 20 years of experience in pediatric healthcare. She has a Bachelors in Biology from Westmont College and graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing BSN/MSN program. She began her nursing career at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2003. The following 9 years were dedicated to the Pediatric Oncology at Seattle Children's Hospital where she practiced as a Nurse Practitioner. 

Annaka's career took her to Olympia Pediatrics in 2016, where she found a second calling in primary care. Annaka's empathy, developed from her early career in high-stakes medicine, shines through her compassionate approach to patient care. Her professional interests span from promoting wellness to treating medically complex patients. Her divergent experiences make her an asset to the healthcare team. 

Outside of her professional life, Annaka is a devoted mother and enjoys gardening, music and caring for animals. She is also an active volunteer at St. Christopher's Community Church youth and children Ministry.

Rachel Morgan, MD (she/her)                                                                             

Education and Degrees: BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego MD from New York Medical College 

Dr. Morgan started her career as a pediatrician in Southern California in 2008 and joined Olympia Pediatrics in 2022 after relocating to Washington. 

"What I love most about being a pediatrician is watching kids grow. I find it so interesting to watch a child develop from a newborn to a young adult. Those first 2 years are so fun, watching a baby grow and develop into a toddler; walking, talking, and developing their own personality and opinions is awesome."  

When not at work Dr. Morgan likes spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.

Seth Webb, ARNP, DNP (he/him) 

Seth is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for pediatrics. Seth joined Olympia Pediatrics in 2023 after relocating to Washington from Kansas.  

Born and raised in Iowa, he has been practicing since 2017, first in his home state and then in Kansas City, Kansas. Seth holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The University of Iowa, which has equipped him with the knowledge and skills to provide top-notch care in both primary care and urgent care settings. 

As a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Seth is committed to advocating for the interests of his young patients in all aspects of their lives. He firmly believes in the importance of empowering children to express themselves genuinely and freely, as he believes this is a key factor in their growth and overall well-being. 

Seth's choice to specialize in pediatrics was driven by his desire to make a difference in the lives of the patients and families he works with. He recognizes the unique challenges faced by pediatric patients, who often struggle to articulate their discomfort or distress. Seth sees his role as a pediatric provider as an opportunity to be a voice for these patients, helping them communicate their needs and supporting their journey towards reaching their healthcare goals. 

Outside of his professional life, Seth enjoys traveling, concerts, sporting events and spending quality time with his wife, friends and family as well as his cat and four dogs. He also has a keen interest in cooking and barbecuing on his Traeger grill.

Jessica Jurasin, ARNP (she/her) 

Jessica is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years experience working in pediatrics. Her journey in healthcare began 15 years ago, where she worked as a Pediatric Nurse in various clinic and hospital settings. Since 2015, Jessica has been focusing on pediatric primary care as a Nurse Practitioner.  

Jessica values building relationships with her patients and their families. She believes in a shared decision-making model that respects the uniqueness of each person and situation. Her professional interests lie in mental health, autism, resiliency, and rural care. 

Her commitment to adolescent mental health is evident in her 2023 national conference presentation on "Adolescent Mental Health Outreach in Rural Primary Care," which earned her the Adolescent Special Interest Group Award. 

Outside her professional life, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring nature through gravel biking, hiking, and walking. She also enjoys baking bread on rainy days and playing in the Grays Harbor Symphony and the Grays Harbor Concert Band.

Tina Washington, LMFT, (she/her)

Tina is a seasoned Behavioral Health Therapist with over a decade of experience and provides compassionate care for both children and adults.  With an MS in Mental Health Counseling and a rich background in psychiatric care, Tina has honed her skills in various school settings, leading her to a fulfilling career in counseling.  As a member of professional organizations like WMHCS, Clinicians of Color in private practice, and Washington Counselors of Color, she stays abreast of the latest developments in her field.

Tina's core professional belief is that everyone is the expert of their own life, and she feels privileged to accompany them on their journey. She has always worked with kids in one capacity or another and loves this population.  Tina feels there is a lot to learn from the kids she works with and enjoys working with teens.  

Beyond her professional commitments, Tina is a fervent sports fan and former collegiate athlete.  She shares her home with her two beloved dogs, a black lab and a golden doodle, who is a therapy dog in training.

Michelle Venida, MSW, LICSW-A (she/her)

Michelle joined the behavioral health team at Olympia Pediatrics in 2022.   

With a patient-centered approach, Michelle believes in the power of integrity, respect, and compassion. She finds immense joy in working with youth, helping them navigate through their challenges, and celebrating their triumphs. Her professional journey is marked by a commitment to continuous learning and service, with recent volunteer activities at South Sound Parent to Parent and a variety of personal interests outside of work, including reading, cooking, and embroidery. 

“I enjoy working with youth and helping them through struggles and challenges, also celebrating their happy and proud moments.  I am here to provide a listening and trustworthy ear, to provide support and advice as needed, and to simply help them remember that they are not alone. It’s an amazing feeling to establish rapport with a patient and to see their progress in therapy, to see them become more comfortable in their own skin, build healthy coping mechanisms, and watch them grow their communication skills to use their words to share how they’re feeling.” 

Michelle grew up in the Olympia area for most of her life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time reading books, trying her hand at a new recipe, hanging out with her toy sized Australian Shepherd, named Toki! Also, traveling, hiking, embroidery, checking out new restaurants and cafes, watching TV shows and movies.

Nila Williamson MPH, RD, IBCLC (she/her) 

Nila is a pediatric Registered Dietitian (RDN) and Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. With almost 2 decades of experience working with children and their families on feeding, she has a deep understanding of the dynamic nutritional needs of children. She is highly motivated by the potential to positively influence a person's relationship with food through childhood experiences.  

Nila holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho. In her career, Nila has worked at the WIC Program, Seattle Children's Hospital, and the WA Department of Health and joined Olympia Pediatrics in 2022. As a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Nila is committed to staying up to date with the latest research and practices in her field. She is also an active member of the South Sound Lactation Network.  

Outside of work, Nila loves spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and her goofy dog. You can often find her outdoors, on a trail surrounded by trees, or working on home improvement projects.  She also belongs to an Ultimate Frisbee group locally in Olympia.

Amy Belko, MD, (she/her) 

Dr. Belko is a highly experienced medical professional with a passion for pediatrics. Known to patients and families as Dr. Belko or Dr. Amy, she brings over 30 years of experience in the field.  

Recently retired from her position at Olympia Pediatrics, Dr. Belko continues to contribute her expertise by performing Autism evaluations, as well as coverage for her colleagues when needed. She holds both a PhD and MD degree, demonstrating her commitment to scholarly achievement. Dr. Belko is a proud member of professional organizations including AAP and WCAAP, further reflecting her dedication to the field of pediatrics.  

With a firm belief that every child deserves access to exceptional medical care, regardless of factors such as age, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation and identification, national origin, language, socioeconomic status, or physical, emotional, and cognitive disability, Dr. Belko is dedicated to advocating for the well-being of all children. Her professional area of interest lies in Autism, reflecting her commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of individuals on the autism spectrum. 

On a personal note, Dr. Belko is a proud mother of two adult daughters, one residing in Colorado and the other in England. With her recent retirement, she and her husband are excited to have more time to visit and connect with their daughters. Also, an avid lover of outdoor activities, Dr. Belko particularly enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing. 

Nathalia Lopes, MD (she/her)

Dr. Lopes (pronounced "lops" rhymes with "pops") will join Olympia Pediatrics in November of 2024.  

After completing medical school in Brazil, Dr. Lopes began her pediatrics residency, as well as working in the pediatric emergency department and was part of the pediatric trauma department.  In 2021, she made the decision to pursue a career as a pediatrician in the US, which she achieved by successfully completing a three-year residency program at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami. 

Dr. Lopes believes in child-centered care associated with a family-centered approach. She is an advocate for children and encourages preventive medicine with her patients. Continuity of care is one of her passions, particularly when she can follow patients from the first days of life.
